Mike is not any better. He is not any worse, but we were really hoping to see some improvement by now. Things are status quo, sort of. We have had some brief moments when Mike has felt really good. We have also had a ton of time when he has felt absolutely awful. But for now, status quo is better than a decline, and we will take it.
Mike is having a brain and spine MRI this Thursday, and I am posting to shamelessly solicit your prayers and positive thoughts. We need them all. I will post as soon as we get the results.
P.S. Today is Mike’s birthday. He is now 34! Here is to hoping for a better year of life. Happy Birthday, My Love.

Many prayers your way for some relief from this awful disease. I have kept up on your blog, as your constant run-ins with the beast seem to somewhat mirror ours where the ups and downs are. My Brian will be 35 on Friday, and melanoma has just beat him down. He is so tired of being sick, and we are all worn down by this disease
But we keep up the fight. We keep praying for healing. And we will pray for you too.

Frank turned 31 on July 7th.
I'm glad things are not too bad. Sometimes it takes time till all these meds start working. Hope things will get better and better with every day that will pass. Sometimes waiting is the most painful thing.
